How Does It Work?

Over 100 community members trade with and obtain services from each other without the need for cash. Instead, a member earns one Time Dollar for every hour he or she spends helping another member, whether stacking wood or giving a ride, and can then use that Time Dollar to obtain something he or she needs from another member, like a haircut or childcare.

In the face of challenging economic times, our mission is to develop local self-reliance and strengthen resiliency among the individuals, families, and communities of the North Quabbin region.
