How Does It Work?
Over 100 community members trade with and obtain services from each other without the need for cash. Instead, a member earns one Time Dollar for every hour he or she spends helping another member, whether stacking wood or giving a ride, and can then use that Time Dollar to obtain something he or she needs from another member, like a haircut or childcare.
In the face of challenging economic times, our mission is to develop local self-reliance and strengthen resiliency among the individuals, families, and communities of the North Quabbin region.

Scrapbooking classes are held EVERY MONTH in New Salem!

Easy Reminders for Using the Software
Step 1: Set Up Your Online Account (Will NOT Be Activated Until Your Orientation)
Step 2: Member Application Form (Print & Bring with You to Your Orientation)
Step 3: Attend An Hour-Long Orientation
One of our coordinators will be in touch once we see that you have set up your account. We will set up a convenient time and place to meet for a one-time, hour-long orientation, during which we will activate your account and help you post your first offers and requests. You will receive 2 Time Dollars for completing this process, one for filling out your paperwork and one for attending your orientation.
